Your pet follows you through town and out along the trail. Peek behind fences, read the signs, and head home to the den for a nap.
Play-offs, not fights
Run into a critter in the tall grass and it's game on. Pets get tuckered out, never hurt. Tire a critter out or offer a treat to befriend it.
Fill your journal
Every critter you meet goes in your Critter Journal. Each pet keeps its own save, so swapping pets gives each one its own story.
ON THE TRAIL
Meet the locals
Three critters live along the first route. Each has its own Trait, and Traits go round in a loop, so every matchup has a counter.
Duck
Playful. Busts out a Splash Dance, then waddles faster and faster.
Hedgehog
Sassy. Rolls into a bouncy prickly ball. Hardest of the three to win over.
Squirrel
Curious. The quickest on the trail. Tosses acorns to play catch.
